The sharing economy promises a more sustainable and participatory model… yet adoption remains limited.

This collective volume explores why and examines how Artificial Intelligence (AI) can unlock the full potential of peer-to-peer collaboration.

THEME

“Reluctant to Share? How AI Can rewire the Sharing Economy”
The volume will analyze the psychological, social, economic, and structural barriers to participation in collaborative models (asset sharing, pooling, platform-based consumption) and explore how AI can:

  • Strengthen trust and security among users
  • Improve personalization and user experience
  • Facilitate intelligent platform design and digital inclusivity

CALL FOR CONTRIBUTIONS

Researchers, practitioners, and innovators are invited to submit chapters addressing:

  • Barriers to the adoption of the sharing economy
  • AI-based solutions to enhance participation and trust
